An introduction of botanical studies.

Tue Nov 21, 2006, 1:16 AM
I've blindly come across a new direction for my art.
It shall be based on a grid format, sectioned, lots of colour drowned in masses of light and dark, with its main feature being studies of botany.
The overall feel of the paintintgs will be highly feminine, with masculine undertones creating what will hopefully be a visually justified balance of the two.

I'm concentrating on introducing elements seen in William Morris's 19th Century artworks, features which should be an interesting contrast to my previous works.

I'm introducing naturalistic and art nouveau elements in to my new pieces, will pop some on here eventually, give me your opinions, I'd be thrilled to hear them.

But, lets wait and see what the final product is...

Hello!!
welcome to deviantart
:iconbillycorgansgirl:
I can't upload anything yet, as my scanner has buggered up. So I gotta wait til mid January to load up any pictures I have done so far (which are very juvenile) and once I get my art folio back from school I can load up some more works. I can put what marks I got on here for that fucking ncea.

Im currently listening to Pushit, by Tool. I'm wondering how one song is so full of incredible diversity, and how it can be so angry and beautiful at one time. I could die to this song. Aenima, the album, makes me feel complete. Its incredible how one album can change the way one feels about everything, on any topic. I'm listening to third eye. I think I should shower.
